What this site collects

We do not ask for your name, address, or payment information unless you choose to buy a book through a retailer link. The only personal data we collect directly is the email address you enter when subscribing to Isa's Coven. Traffic data is collected automatically through analytics, described below.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (linked through the Lovable platform) to understand how visitors move through the pages: which books are viewed, where readers come from, and what devices are used. Google Analytics may set cookies on your browser and collect device, browser, and usage data, including your IP address. We only see aggregated reports; we do not combine analytics data with newsletter data.

You can read how Google handles this data in the Google Privacy Policy. Most browsers also let you block or clear cookies through their settings.

Newsletter and email list

The subscription form at the bottom of the site sends your email address to our email service provider (for example, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or a similar provider). That provider stores the address, handles delivery, tracks whether emails are opened or clicked, and processes unsubscribe requests. We do not sell, rent, or trade email addresses. We only send you content you signed up for: new releases, cover reveals, and occasional bonus scenes.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also request removal by contacting us directly.

Cookies and tracking

We use only the cookies necessary for analytics and for the newsletter signup form to function. There are no advertising pixels, no social-media trackers embedded in the pages, and no third-party logins required to browse the site.

How we use what we collect

• To understand which pages and books readers find most interesting.
• To send Isa's Coven emails when you have subscribed.
• To keep the site secure, stable, and fast.
• To comply with legal obligations if required.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not share it with anyone outside the service providers listed on this page.

Service providers and hosting

This site is built and hosted on Lovable, which provides the platform infrastructure. Analytics are handled by Google. Email list management is handled by whichever email service provider is configured in the newsletter form. Each of these services has its own privacy practices and may process data in accordance with its own terms.

Data retention

Email addresses stay on the list until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Analytics data is retained by Google under its own policies. We do not maintain separate copies of personal data beyond what is needed to run the site.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. The easiest way to exercise most of these rights is to use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter. For other requests, contact us at the address below.

Age and content

This site and Isa Salem's books are intended for adults 18 and older. The newsletter sign-up requires an age confirmation checkbox. We do not knowingly collect data from visitors under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the site changes or as legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will show the most recent revision.
